Broadcast Journalist
With her sweet voice and smooth tongue, Shola Bello, a Nigerian national, chose Broadcast Journalism as a career because of her passion for news reading and her love for music.
This very young unassuming lady started exhibiting her broadcasting skills in 2011 when she joined Eagle Radio 91.3FM as a freelance reporter and presenter. In 2012, Shola Bello caught the attention of the Directors of a foreign owned radio station called Capital Radio 104.9FM where she excelled beyond imagination.
In 2016 she joined the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) as a Television News Anchor. With a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Liccsal Business College, she was the proud winner of the 2018 Sister’s Choice Radio Personality of the Year Award and also recipient of the Eminence Africa TV Personality the same year. Shola Bello produces and presents the program “Woman” on Radio Mercury 92.1FM every Wednesday 7:00 pm to 8:00pm.
