Lansana B. Tarawally A.K.A King Lans started his career as a Disc Jockey in 2008, in Kenema City Eastern Sierra Leone, working with Eastern Community Radio 101.9FM.
It was there that he learnt radio programmes production and presentation skills. He has since put his media skills into action by trying his hands at many programmes to the admiration of foreign broadcast entities including the BBC Media Action where he later enrolled as a producer.
When King Lans joined Radio Mercury in 2018, his fantastic digital editing skills led him to be catapulted to the position of Head of Production.
Born in Kokoru Gaura, Gaura Chiefdom, Kenema District, Eastern Sierra Leone, King Lans has a Diploma in Information Technology. He is a producer, presenter and an announcer.
