Radio Journalist
Muctarr Koroma is a student of Sociology at Fourah Bay College (FBC) University of Sierra Leone, he was drawn into radio journalism by his urge to enrich his critical thinking and analytical skills.
This very focused young man started his career with African Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire where he worked from 2012-2013, before switching over to Afri- Radio where he spent five years 2014-2019 as a producer and presenter.
He joined Radio Mercury 92.1FM in November 2019 and is co-producing and co-presenting local and international sports week-in and week-out. Energetic and enthusiastic, Muctarr Koroma uses Newspaper and online media to publish stories that shed light on various national and global issues. His zest to explore many different areas enables him to be grounded in Public Relations as well.
Mactarr is a proud product of St. Edwards Secondary School (May Park Boys), Muctarr Koroma is a Lotto Draw Announcer as well.
